“He who despises the word will be destroyed, but he who fears the commandment will be rewarded. The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snares of death.” Proverbs 13:13,14
Isaiah 30:20-21, “And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, But your eyes shall see your teachers. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.”
Job 34:32 says: “Teach me what I do not see; If I have done iniquity, I will do no more.”
Matthew 11:28-29 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
No one is ready for rest until he learns from the Master over all problems that rob people of rest.
In Luke 6:40 Jesus Christ says, “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.” It takes Training to Be like Jesus Christ! And it takes being like Jesus to Live like Him!
You see, nothing guarantees man’s escape and rest from all evils like being Trained in the Word of God!
