Ministry is Meeting Needs!
Ministry is Meeting Needs! Ministry is all about meeting needs! Whoever finds his or her way to the Church has come to God’s home of solutions.
The Church is the home of freedom for all.
Obadiah 1: 17 But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
Luke 4: 18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
The obvious truth is that so many are in the Church today with their needs unmet! Why? Because most people do not understand their purpose as ministers and also are unchecked!
The Church is the home of Solutions for all.
If anyone comes to the Assembly where you are the minister and stays under your ministry for three (3) months with his or her problem(s) something is not right. Nobody should come under your ministry and still have his or her problem after three months at the most.
I tell my wife and children if I am not meeting their needs they should go to another Church or Ministry. I tell everyone that the Lord brings to Jesus Mission Headquarters to watch their lives for three (3) months. If the person’s problems are not solved, then they should go elsewhere.
I will consider myself a thief to receive tithes (or God’s wages to His workers) from people if the problems of those that bring the tithes are not solved. As God’s employee, my job is to meet the needs of the sheep and ensure that they lack nothing (see Jeremiah 23:1-4).
No minister is in ministry who is not solving the problems of the people and meeting their needs. And no minister has any right to receive tithes and offerings or any wages for being in ministry if the problems of the people are not solved.
Jesus is our example. He solved the problems and met the needs of all that the Father sent to Him before He received their offerings (Luke 8:1-3). And we must follow His example; for Ministry is Meeting needs!
